A large 4 storey detached house was stripped to its shell and remodelled to provide a well fitted modern dwelling.

Alterations included the excavation of the basement floor to give additional headroom and to turn it into a usable part of the house. Load-bearing partitions were adapted and removed to open up areas within the building and steel framing was provided to maintain load paths and the stability of the building.

An extension to the rear was created using steel framing and glass curtain walling.
