This Grade 2 listed building started life as a school in the early 1900's. It was converted into flats in the 1980's and since then has had minimal repair and maintenance work.

We were initially commissioned to survey and report on roofing defects, in particular a perimeter cornice detail which allows rain water to overflowl because the gutters are inadequate and misaligned.

Our role was subsequently extended to include the preparation of a specification and tender documents for a repair contract for the roofs, to include external redecorations to utilise the full scaffolding required to access the cornice. The works were tendered and the contract awarded in June 2011.
